We are a private organization comprised of individuals who work to protect, preserve and promote the mysteries of the universe. Since the dawning of time, humankind has pursued our natural instinct to seek the enlightenment that lay in the shadows of ignorance waiting to be understood. But this path often collides with the interests of those who hold power by maintaining the shroud of ignorance over the minds of the fearful. It requires great courage and inspiration to challenge these barriers which exist solely to intimidate us away from the truth. It is often too great a task for an individual to pursue alone so strong is the resistance and the threat of persecution, then dooming these wonders to remain in the darkness where they are deemed occult.

Members of the Shadow Magi Group are scholars, guardians and seekers; We are teachers, practitioners and preservers. We demand no creed but to honor truths in good faith, even while it remains in the darkness with only the candles of our dedication to mark its place. we ask no oath but to travel with those who go seeking into the dark to defend them and the path they reveal. We expect no reward but the honor of greater understanding, and we ask nothing of others but to share their own truth. We recognize that a person or a system may have some truths, but none are in possession of the whole of the mysteries, and those who claim otherwise are seeking something else.

This task must be done in the shadows, for that is where the truths are and where the seekers must go. Thus, our membership is private and we do not seek glorification of our duties by individual self-promotion. Our activities are supported by private funding From the sales of our collection and the generous contributions of individuals who concur with our mission. We ask nothing of the public and we do not shelter under the haven of organized religion, therefor we owe fealty to none but those who seek the light in the darkness, as magi have always done since the dawning and will continue until the final night.
